Efficient Innovations is looking for an experienced design engineer with product development experience in the advanced pharmaceutical packaging or medical device space. A strong understanding of mechanical design, user needs identification and product development with previous experience working on medical products is required. This opportunity is to be the lead design engineer for a new product vertical within a rapidly growing service and manufacturing organization.

Candidate Requirements

Position: Fulltime | Work Hours: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm | Salary: 5 – 7 LPA

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating with the technical and management aspects of projects.
• Knowledge of Injection, blow moulding will be considered as a plus point.
•  Knowledge of ISO 13485, user-needs identification, risk assessment.
• Use of Cad Software like Solid works, fusion 360, Auto Cad.
• Use of general software like Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Skills

• Legacy conversion (2D to 3D)
• Reverse & Re-engineering.
• Designing & Detailing.
• Detailed manufacturing design.
• Value engineering & analysis.
• Technology transfer.
• Layout support.
• Medical/Pharmaceutical Product Design experience

Education

• Mechanical Engineer, an industrial designer with relevant background in design.
• 2 to 4 years of Experience in the required domain.

Job Description

Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects. Accountable for the successful completion of engineering, mould development projects. Injection mould & process establishment co-ordination with the suppliers & product qualification. Frontline Coordination with Client, suppliers, following Project Procedures, Project Control, coordinating with the global project team, ensures effective team communications. Reviews and monitors project progress to assure quality and adherence to requirements of contract documents. Chair the project meetings to collect and disseminate information pertaining to projects.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in plastics/mechanical.
• Excellent communication skills, fluency in verbal and written English.
• Effective listener: good at listening and grasping to the requirements or problems without bias.
• Must have strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
• The ability to think beyond the boundaries and challenge the status-quo , quick learner who can adopt to changes.
• Good at building rapport with the customer in order to achieve a closer working relationship and openness.
• Ability to deal with people from various culture across the globe.
